Safety & Range Rules

At Hi-Tech Archery, safety is our top priority. Archery equipment can be dangerous if used improperly. All customers, guests, and participants are required to follow these safety rules and comply with staff instructions at all times.

Failure to follow safety rules may result in removal from the range or refusal of service.

General Safety Notice

Archery equipment is inherently dangerous if used improperly. By entering our premises and participating in any archery-related activity, customers assume all risks associated with the handling, use, and storage of archery equipment.

All customers must:

  • Follow posted safety rules
  • Follow all verbal instructions from staff
  • Use equipment only as intended

Range Safety Rules

All range users must follow these rules at all times:

  • No broadheads are permitted on the range.
    Only field points or approved target points may be used.
  • No crossbows are allowed on the range.
  • No sky drawing.
    Bows must not be drawn or pointed above the target line or toward the ceiling at any time.
  • No running or horseplay.
    Running, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior is prohibited anywhere on the range.
  • Always keep arrows pointed downrange.
  • Never draw or release a bow unless facing the target and the range is clear.
  • Do not cross the shooting line until instructed or until the range is declared safe.
  • Never retrieve arrows until all shooting has stopped and it is safe to do so.
  • Use only approved equipment.
  • Alcohol, drugs, or impaired behavior are not permitted on the range.

Staff may stop shooting, clear the range, or remove individuals at any time for safety reasons.

Lessons & Instruction

Archery lessons are typically conducted upstairs.
Accessible instruction at a ground-level location is available at no additional cost upon request.

All lesson participants must:

  • Follow instructor directions at all times
  • Use only approved equipment
  • Wear appropriate attire and safety gear as instructed

Minors Policy

  • Minors must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times unless enrolled in an instructor-led lesson.
  • Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the conduct and safety of minors under their supervision.

Hi-Tech Archery reserves the right to remove minors from activities if safety rules are not followed.

Photography & Video Notice

Photos and video may be taken on these premises for safety, training, or promotional purposes.
If you have concerns regarding photography or video recording, please notify a staff member.

Enforcement & Right to Refuse Service

For safety reasons, Hi-Tech Archery reserves the right to refuse service or remove any individual who fails to follow safety rules, staff instructions, or posted policies.
